Dubai, UAE, June 28, 2020 – Nissan Motor Co., Ltd confirmed the appointment of Nasif Siddiqi as the new managing director of INFINITI Motor Company’s International Markets group effective July 1, 2020. Reporting to Peyman Kargar, Chairman INFINITI Motor Company, Siddiqi will take the reins of a diverse region of INFINITI’s business based in Dubai in the United Arab Emirates.

Prior to this appointment, Siddiqi held the role of general manager Global Sales Operations since 2018 for INFINITI Motor Company based in Yokohama, Japan. He joined INFINITI’s global staff from Nissan North America where he led strategy for the western region. Prior to joining the Nissan family, Siddiqi held leadership roles with Maserati North America and Toyota USA.
Based in Dubai, INFINITI’s International Markets office encompasses the brands business in three diverse markets across the Middle East, parts of Asia and Eastern Europe.
Siddiqi replaces Markus Leithe who has chosen to leave the company to pursue other interests.
At 42 years old, Siddiqi holds a bachelor’s degree in marketing management from California State University and an MBA from University of California, Davis.
Nasif Siddiqi is managing director of INFINITI International markets, based in Dubai, United Arab Emirates. Until June 2020, he was general manager, global sales operations for INFINITI Motor Company, based at the company’s headquarters in Yokohama, Japan. In this role, he is responsible for overseeing INFINITI’s strategic regional markets, including Asia and Oceana, Eastern Europe, and the Middle East.
Prior to joining INFINITI, Siddiqi was general manager of strategy for Nissan North America. Here he led Nissan’s strategic direction across the western region. Before this, Siddiqi was regional vice president of Maserati North America’s western region where he led sales, marketing and dealer network operations for the region.
Siddiqi developed his automotive industry experience at Toyota, where he held a number of regional and HQ management positions over a 10 year period. These included roles in sales operations, incentives, market representation, and distribution across North America.
Siddiqi holds a Bachelors Degree in marketing management from California State University, Hayward and a Masters in Business Administration from University of California, Davis.
